Books Described Badly

Lipstick Covered Magnet by Amber Herbert

Book Cover of Lipstick Covered Magnet

A book to add to your "how not to be a dick" reading list

Not all men are creepers. But all men should read this book. Maybe not even most men are true creepers--maybe. Whether they--we--are creepers or not, a female perspective on the inevitable moments when you--we--do look like asses will save your--our--asses sometimes. Study.

Amber Herbert writes gorgeous prose. She's mastered all the hard stuff. Well-realized characters wandering through intelligently paced plotting. Satisfying book.

This is a deeply uncomfortable book to read, but that's the point. It's about a woman getting stalked by a creeper. It'll make your skin crawl. It needs to make your skin crawl. Does it well. Powerful read.

This book described badly: Connor has a hobby, then gets arrested. Sky uses her superpower to defeat blue light special Dracula. Her superpower: clear communication.

Definitely worth reading. Spot all the musical references. It's like playing rock and roll Where's Waldo.

I give it a "hell yeah!" out of five "damns".
